Virtual ADHD Assessment:
A Convenient Path to Clarity
Â
Comprehensive and Accessible Care for Ages 6-17
Â
Navigating the world of ADHD can be challenging, and getting a diagnosis is the first crucial step toward understanding your child's needs.
We are proud to offer comprehensive virtual ADHD assessments for children and adolescents ages 6 to 17.
Our goal is to make the process as stress-free and accessible as possible, all from the comfort of your own home.
Â
Why Choose a Virtual Assessment?
Â
A virtual assessment provides the same thorough, evidence-based evaluation as an in-person assessment, but with added benefits:
Â
Comfort & Convenience: Your child can complete the assessment in a familiar, low-stress environment.
Â
Accessibility: We can serve families from a wider geographic area, eliminating travel time and logistical challenges.
Â
Flexibility: Scheduling is made simpler, allowing for a better fit with your family's busy life.
Â
ADHD Evaluation Process
Â
Getting diagnosed isn’t just a quick survey—it’s a thorough, evidence-based process that looks at the full picture.
Here's what to expect:
 Clinical Interview
We’ll talk in depth about your child's current challenges, lifestyle, coping strategies, and how symptoms show up in daily life. This step also screens for related conditions like anxiety or depression. Anxiety and depression can be ruled out or diagnosed as part of an ADHD evaluation.
 History Gathering
We gather information about your child's early behavior, academic experiences, and developmental background through interviews, past records, or input from family. Â
 Formal Testing
Your child will complete selected neuropsychological tests that assess attention, working memory, processing speed, and executive functioning. These are structured, evidence-based tools that help us separate ADHD from other issues.
Questionnaires & Surveys
You’ll complete standardized ADHD rating scales to add context to your child's symptoms.
Â
Â
The fee for an ADHD assessment with Dr. Mark Bowers is $750. We do not bill directly to insurance, but we accept HSA/FSA payments if you have that benefit. We also offer installment payment options upon request. You may also be able to receive out-of-network insurance reimbursement for assessments.
